The Author of life, laughter and love

I am so thankful for those three sweet gifts that come from the Lord Jesus Christ, the author of life, laughter and love! People spend so much time arguing for or against the existence of God, debating matters of doctrine or religion. Yet, I have so much more than an argument about who God...I have met Him and seen His marvelous work in my life. What I know, without a doubt, is that before I met Jesus, I was chasing after everything that would bring me death. Before I met Jesus, I only had a shallow imitation of laughter, because I had no joy- only despair, depression and sin that ate away at me. Before I met Jesus, I had given myself over so completely to anger, that I had lost even my natural affection for my parents.
Then, when He saved me, He redeemed those things out of me and gave me the ability to live, to laugh and to truly deeply love as I had never known before. This is the basis of who I am, of everything I do. I walk with Him and talk with Him! How amazing! How unlike religion! Truly God is good!
